Kyle. AKA Heartthrob!
Handsome, Funny, Just a great guy to be around ! But enough about me, Lets talk about Kyle. I first met Kyle at the Brooklyn Invitational this year, and knew from jump street that he was a solid dude. He reminds me of myself when I was younger. Everything about Kyle is Sweet! Sweet Triumph, Sweet Ironhead and most of all His Fiancee Cailyn, she is soo Sweet! And by the way, looks amazing wearing the EASTCOASTMACHINE trucker hat. {Avaible Here! } I often catch myself thinking of Kyle, stuff like, whats his favorite color? and , what kind of shampoo does he use ? And then sometimes I think stuff like, Why wont he return my call's? and , will he ever lift the RESTRAINING ORDER OFF OF ME !? Sorry, now I'm getting carried away. Back to Kyle. Most of the time when you meet someone you know right away what kind of person they are. Kyle is Right On, and 100% Genuine. I am proud to call him my friend.

PAUL COX'S TRIUMPH
I love my old Iron Horse magazine's. I must pull them out at least once a month for review. Great articles like this were usually in every issue. Enjoy

GIVING THANKS
Ok where do I start? First and foremost I would like to thank my wife and kids for all there understanding and support. Since I started EASTCOASTMACHINE I didn't think things would take off the way they did, not that it is a bad thing but, as of lately with making parts, sending / returning e mails, packing, shipping and invoicing, have consumed a lot of my time, or should I say my families time, and for that I can't thank them enough.
Secondly I would like to thank all of my friends that have helped me alone on this venture, Supporting me on their respected blogs and general word of mouth. The gears at EASTCOASTMACHINE are constantly turning, I have a head full of ideas that will hopefully come to reality. With quality as my main goal. Thank you all for everything. Steve

EVOLUTION REVOLUTION
Well , I usually think way too much, and my next project is already built in my head . I have two projects currently in progress which with some luck may roll out this coming summer, but that's what I said last summer! Any how, I just checked my bank account, Looks like a Knucklehead or Panhead build are completely out of the question. Shovel motors are on the rise as well. Thankfully I stumbled on this newfangled thingamajig called the Evolution engine. It's amazing! Priced right and technology on my side. Perfect choice for the next chopper. I know, I know.....Settle down, Take a deep breath, Trust me brothers, everything is going to be OK! The Revolution is coming!

Wild Bill's 1958 Ariel
Meet Bill Jenkins. I first met Bill through the classified ads, No! not those classified ads silly, the automotive classifieds. He was selling a chopped and channeled model A pick up that he drug back from California, but that's another story for another time. Bill is absolutely amazing! He's the front man for the band Kingsnake, ran his own auto repair shop, a school teacher and devoted husband and father. Believe me he's done it and seen it all! Rumor has it he even climbed to the top of Mount Everest 3 times.........IN ONE WEEK! Yeah pretty amazing right? Well whats even more amazing is Bills 1958 Ariel Huntmaster. This is a truly incredible machine, displacing 650 cc of British power, gets this baby down the highway with ease. With several custom touches at hand, it makes the purists cry like babies! Strait pipes, mini ape hangers, flamed paint job, and to top it off, he got the bike for free! With a little bit of elbow grease and the willingness to hit the highway.. Job well done. Check it out!

Electrifying!
I work for Nissan for a living. They sent me to school up in North Jersey this week for the new Nissan Leaf, a full electric car, zero emissions. Not much scares me, but this one does. The on board battery cell has enough voltage to send you six feet under! To service the battery you have to suit up in all this high voltage gear, rubber gloves and boots, all sorts of fireproof attire. One wrong move on this baby , I'm history! Wish me luck!

"Now pay attention, because this is how its supposed to be done."
In a time where everything old is new again, there are some free thinkers that look outside of the box!
Enter Mike McElwee and his twin cam chopper. This machine is everything a chopper should be, Iight weight rigid frame, stripped down and using the most minimal components. Oh yeah, and lets not forget about that fire breathing 88 cubic inch twin cam monster, wonderfully engineered to fit inside that early Santee frame. Which I might add has no problem pushing this chopper jockey into the triple digits with the simple twist of the throttle!
Whats even more impressive than that is all of the hand made controls, battery box, seat pan and tons of other miscellaneous brackets and mounts. But wait ! It gets better! Mike builds killer bikes right out of his very small one car garage which he converted into his work shop, and is rasing two handsom young boys, with the help of his beauitfull wife Sue. If you ever see this bike in person, please take the time out to see all the amazing details. I know that this bike will be completely passed over at our next local bike night if some one parks next to him with a old chopper with all the period correct parts.... But Mikes bike is CORRECT ! PERIOD.

LUCKY THIRTEEN !
This week Me and my Wife Michelle celebrated our thirteenth wedding anniversary ! We have been together for around the better part of twenty years. Yes, we have our ups and downs, but we have had way more good times than bad. She is a wonderfull mother to my two boys, Steven and Jesse, and is my best friend. Even though she dosent like to go to the swapmeets anymore or care too much for my latest chopper score, She is still number one in my heart. Always.

IRON HORSE
December 1994, I came across this gem at a book store over in New Jersey.
Little did I know, that it would change my life forever. Inside were pictures and stories
of awesome, mostly home built choppers. I was hooked ! It's funny, at the time,
I could not afford the whopping $27.00 for a years subscription. So, I would
anxiously await for the next issue, and make my monthly pilgrimage to that
little magazine shop in Jersey.

Me and my friend Mike headed out last friday for the Liberty Cycle open house. Met up with some other good friends and had a blast as usual.
And there off !
My wife and youngest son Jesse are off to the Magic Kingdom. I hate the place personally, My dream one day is to thaw out old Walt Disney, and kick the shit out of him for creating such an awefull place !
